The responsibilities of the position encompass industrial relations, personnel management, training, safety, occupational health and the appointee will play a significant part in contributing to the over-all performance of the Plant. Industrial relations and relationships with unions are a majorpart of the role and a reporting staff will assist the appointee in the other facets of this position. Applicants will need to be experienced in industrial relations and personnel management, ideally with at least a medium size company. A tertiary qualification would be advantageous; however, experience coupled with a mature and articulate manner are the prime considerations.
