Amnesty auction

The work of 90 New Zealand artists will be auctioned soon, to benefit the human rights work of Amnesty International.

The artists include Sir Tosswill Woollaston, Ralph Hotere, Michael Smither, Robyn Kahukiwa, Grahame Sydney and Philip Trusttum. The wide range of works to be auctioned in Auckland, includes paint-

ings, jewellery, ceramics and wall-hangings. Prices will range from $lOO to $lO,OOO. The auction is being sponsored by the BNZ, and is the first corporate sponsorship for Amnesty International in New Zealand. The auction is being held at Peter Webb’s Gallery, Auckland, on Wednesday, October 26.
