The official search for the missing Marina May crewman, Alan Vincent Ferguson, aged 28, who is believed to have drowned after the fishing vessel foundered on the Greymouth Harbour bar last Thursday, has been called off.
The body of the trawler’s skipper, Raymond Thomas Henham, aged 36, was recovered in the wave trap beside the Grey River last Friday afternoon.
The search for Mr Ferguson continued at low tide last week-end.
