Mr David Aiderton is the new chief executive officer of Databank Systems. On a three-year contract to Databank, he was previously group general manager, information services, for Myer Department Stores in Australia. This is part of the Coles-Myer group, which accounts for 20 per cent of Australia’s retail sales. Between 1982 and 1984 Mr Aiderton was project leader for the introduction of a point of sale system designed to capture all sales data.
