BAKER, Alan — Treasured memories of my dear husband. who passed away October 8. 1987. We do not part from those we love for you still walk by my side. The years we had together are mine to always treasure. Life goes on. I know that's true but it’s not the same as when I had you. You suffered much in silence. Your spirit did not. bend, You faced your life with courage. until the very end. But when I saw you sleeping, with no suffering or pain. 1 could not wish you back to suffer once again. Little did we know that, night. What sorrow the day would bring. When your golden heart stopped beating. We couldn't do a thing. If onlj’ we could have been with you. To hold you and say our last goodbye, But it wasn’t meant to be. God closed his arms around you. And whispered come with me. He could see that you had suffered enough, And that you needed to rest. Now we know for sure it’s true, He only takes the best.. He broke our hearts but he eased your pain, Dad, It hurts so much not to see you again. There are warm and loving memories. Of the times we use to have, You were the best Dad there ever could be, And we miss you so very much. We needed you Dad for many more years.
