THE UNIVERSITy'oF AUCKLAND PRE-ENROLMENT 1989 BECAUSE OF INSUFFICIENT accommodation and restrictions on staffing there will be a limitation on the number of students who can be enrolled for certain courses at the University in 1939. Those wishing to enrol in 1989 for any of the courses of study listed below must complete a Preparatory Application Form by the date prescribed. Application forms are available from the Registrar, University of Auckland, Private Bag, Auckland, or at the Enquiries Counter, Registry Building, 24 Princes Street. Intending students will not be permitted to enrol in any of the courses of study listed below unless they have received confirmation of an available place in 1989. NOTES (1) Students wishing to enrol at the University of Auckland in 1989 who come under any of the categories listed below must complete a Preparatory Application Form. (a) year including those applying for Special Admission or Personal Interest Courses Nev/ Zealand students or those ordinarily resident in New Zealand who have never previously enrolled at a University in New Zealand or overseas. NB (i) Those who do not hold New Zealand University Entrance qualifications but have passed an entrance qualification for admission to an overseas university must complete the Preparatory Application Form and also apply for a grant of Admission Ad Eundem Statum at entrance level through the Universities Entrance Board, P.O. Box 12348, Wellington North. (ii) Overseas students on entry permit who have applied or are applying to OSAC for a place must not complete the Preparatory Application Form. (iii) Students applying for Provisional Entry do not complete a Preparatory Application Form. (b) Students whose last previous enrolment was at another university in Nev; Zealand. (c) Exclusion Students who have failed to make satisfactory academic progress and require the permission of Senate to re-enrol. (d) Former Students Students who were last enrolled at the University of Auckland but not in 1988. (e) Pre-enrolment Students who wish to enrol in a course of study or paper(s) with restricted entry (as detailed in the timetable below). The Preparatory Application Forms must be completed and posted to the Registrar, University of Auckland, Private Bag, Auckland or handed into the Enquiries Office, Registry Building, 24 Princes Street by the prescribed date listed below if pre-enrclling, otherwise received by the University not later than January 15, 1989. Late applications are subject to a late fee of $55 (includes GST). Students pre-enrolling late are warned that they may not be given equal priority with those pre-enrolling by the due date.
