Capital gains tax before next year?
PA Wellington The consultative document on capital gains tax will not be ready before next year, but the Minister of Revenue, Mr de Cleene, hopes to introduce the system before the next election. Mr de Cleene said yesterday that the capital gains consultative document was with Treasury and was not likely to be ready this year. But he hoped capital gains legislation could be brought in quickly.
