Mathematics contest
Three Christchurch post-primary pupils were among the top 20 in mathematics in New Zealand who contested a national final in Christchurch yesterday.
David Bulger, of Burnside High School, was placed third in the BNZ senior mathematics competition.
David Bryant, of Burnside High School, and David Callender, of Hillmorton High School, were the other two Christchurch finalists who sat the written paper yesterday. David Wallace, of Rongotai College, Wellington, was placed first. Nicholas Strickland, of Nelson College, was second.
