Six winners
Six winners of three double passes each to see “Little Nikita,” “The Blob” and “Nico” at Christchurch’s PacerKerridge cinemas were Nicky Watson, M. A. Chiba, Christopher Topp, Sacha Eddington, Craig Hamilton and J. N. Williamson. Tickets have been mailed to them. The winners were the writers of the first six letters which answered correctly the following three questions:
® In which 1967 film did Sidney Poitier star with Lulu? (“To Sir With Love.”) ©ln which 1987 film based on a Stephen King story did River Phoenix first appear with several other young actors? (“Stand By Me.”) 9 Which famous actor, now dead, had his first major starring role in the original, 1958 version, of “The Blob”? (Steve McQueen.)
