Brierley Investments now holds 88.8 per cent of the ordinary share capital of Lanes Industries and has extended its offer for the remainder. Brierley said the date for acceptances of its offer had been extended until October 11. In addition to the holding of ordinary shares (14.90 million), Brierley said it had 392,422 or 46.2 per cent of the convertible specified preference shares.
