Wind and trucks

Sir,—On returning home on my motor-cycle tonight from Christchurch, I am again confronted with the speeding of huge trucks. If these drivers and rigs are in such a hurry it is time their firms did something. Especially dangerous are the huge gusts of wind when you meet some of the trucks coming the other way.. It is time the fronts of these huge monsters were designed to cut the air, as in the fairing on my motor-cycle. — Yours, etc., NEIL HAMPTON. September 22, 1988.
