Fletcher sets 405c price
Fletcher Challenge yesterday announced a strike price of 405 c a share for shares issued to shareholders who elect to receive bonus shares under its dividend reinvestment plan. Under that scheme, the issue price for the bonus was determined by taking 90 per cent of the weighted average price of Fletcher Challenge ordinary shares sold on the New Zealand Stock Exchange between September 2 and September 8. As from September 7 in Australia and September 9 in New Zealand, the company’s shares have been quoted on the Stock Exchange as ex-dividend.
