PrimAcq takes control
PrimAcq Holdings has acquired a controlling interest in Clark Automotive Development, PrimAcq said in a statement.
This company was involved in the research and development of a new electric motor and alternator technology. “We regard the technology as having considerable significance to the electric motor and alternator market. The technology has applications in many areas including variable speed drives and alternators for the automotive industry,” the directors said.
Patents had been applied for
Discussions were being held with companies about commercial prospects of the technology. However, no agreements had been secured.
“The company believes that the developments are important, but is aware of the considerable difficulties in successfully commercialising any new technology,” they said.
