Woman terrorised
PA Auckland The police say a woman, aged 41, was terrorised in her bedroom for iy 2 hours on Sunday by a man who tried repeatedly to rape her. Detective Sergeant Mark Churches said the incident in the woman's Grey Lynn home had left her distraught. About 3.30 a.m. the
woman awoke to find a man standing over her in her bedroom. The man tried to rape the woman, Detective Sergeant Churches said. When not trying to assault the woman, the man drank alcohol, threatened her and talked to her. The woman pleaded with the man to leave, but he stayed until dawn.
