Record grants total allocated

A record $850,000 in grants has been given to community and charitable organisations in Canterbury, Marlborough and Nelson by Trust Bank Canterbury. Five 'main grants have been made by the bank. The largest of these, $50,000, will go to the Canterbury Museum’s restoration appeal. The Canterbury PostGraduate Medical Society has received $15,000 for the Trust Bank Canterbury Visiting Professorship Scheme.
