Twizel. — Past and present residents will hold a reunion over Labour Week-end, 1989. It is
hoped to produce a lighthearted book before the gathering and the organisers are seeking contributions on life in this hydroelectric project town. Information to Sandie Sleep, Post Office, Twizel.
Linton. — The centenary of the school and district is to be marked from
March 17 to 19, 1989. Information from Mr Don Rix, R.D. 4, Palmerston North.
Wanganui. — The twentyfifth anniversary of Rutherford Intermediate School will be marked over Labour Week-end this year. Information from Baden Rountree, 32 Toi Street, Wanganui. Masterton. — During Anzac Week-end next year, St Matthew’s Collegiate School will celebrate its seventy-fifth anniversary, Hadlow School, its sixtieth anniversary, Rathkeale College, its twenty-fifth
anniversary and Trinity Senior College, its first anniversary. Information from the Jubilee Secretary, P. O. Box 107, Masterton. Fernside School. — This North Canterbury school will mark its one-hun-dred-and-twenty-fifth anniversary during Waitangi Week-end. (February 3,4, and 5, 1989). People wishing to attend can contact the secretary, Reunion Committee, c Fernside School, R.D. 1, Rangiora. Bell Baxter High School. — The school’s centenary committee wants to hear from former pupils who would like to join in celebrations to take place within the next 18 months. It is hoped to publish a chronicle of former pupils, arrange a series of reunions and organise other activities.
