Rangiora debaters win

A Rangiora High School debating team yesterday beat a team from Nayland College, Nelson, in the South Island semi-finals of the Westpac-Jaycee Secondary School’s Debate.

The Rangiora team took the negative of the subject “that what was good enough for our fathers is good enough for us.” The Rangiora team comprised Kay Lawrence, Kate Francis and Megan Rovnce. The Nayland College team were Suzanne Allison, Rebecca Mcllraith and Sarah Hoult.
