‘Under Milk Wood’
The Riccarton players will hold auditions for Dylan Thomas’s “Under Milk Wood" this Sunday at 10.30 a.m. in the Mill Theatre. The production will be directed by Lex Matheson who has developed the play from the original “Under Milk Wood” written for voices. The play explores a day in the life of a town and the people in it. Lex Matheson’s version is an ensemble piece for actors who will play a range of characters. There are some singing roles, parts for men and women aged from 16 to 60, and four roles for eight to 11 year olds. Auditions details are available from Stewart Robertson, 896-013.
