The audit was conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and practices. In the opinion of the Audit Office, the financial statements fairly reflect, in the form prescribed by regulation 10 of the Local Government (Territorial Authorities) Accounting Regulations, 1979, the financial position of the Council as at March 31, 1987, and the results of financial operations for the year ended on that date.
