Restaurant awards
Sumner’s Scarborough Fare has been voted the best bring-your-own restaurant in New Zealand in the 1988 "Listener”-Mon-tana Wines best restaurant awards. Another Christchurch restaurant, Tiffanys, was judged to have the best New Zealand wine list and to be the best
licensed restaurant in the upper South Island.
The Caledonian Road Cobb and Co. was judged the best family restaurant in the region, adding to the award it won last year as New Zealand’s best famiily restaurant. Wellington’s II Casino was named the best licensed restaurant.
