Flowers, patchwork
Flowers and patchwork are the ingredients for a Gefn exhibition with a distinct “cottagey” flavour. Mary Wells works full-time from her country home, growing and arranging dried field flowers in displays. She sells these regularly from Pataka in Marshland Road. Judy Perreau sews patchwork quilts and smaller items. For this exhibition she has chosen delicate shades. She exhibited Amish quilts earlier this year. The two will combine for the exhibition at the Gefn Gallery in Cashel Street. It opens on Saturday, will continue for two weeks.
