& Touche Ross Dr lain A. McCormick Touche Ross & Co, international firm of chartered accountants and management consultants are pleased to announce the admission to partnership from 1 July 1988 of Dr lain McCormick. Touche Ross are one of the first in the profession to admit a nonaccountant under the New Zealand Society of Accountant's new-rules. lain is a registered psychologist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, a Master of Social Science with first class honours, a Diploma in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in the area of work stress in extreme environments. He has published numerous local and international publications, and is author of a soon to be released book ‘Coping with Change: A Personal Survival Strategy for New Zealand.’ lain's appointment is in keeping with the firm's increasing emphasis on management and human resources consulting Offered to clients. He will form part of the Touche Ross national consulting arm and will take particular responsibility for coordinating services for the Wellington market. Upon joining Touche Ross in 1985 as National Human Resources Manager, lain was responsible for developing a professional development strategy for staff. He has also been involved in numerous ■ projects within the firm and for clients in areas such as performance assessment and counselling, establishing business goals and organisational development. lain's principal future activity will be in the provision of management advisory services to I a broad range of private and 1 public sector clients.
