Barclays Bank New Zealand, Ltd, has advised of two changes in the Barclays Mining Index. Effective from July 12, Oil Fields, Nl, and N.Z. Goldfields are replaced by Platinum Group Metals, Nl, and Kiwi Gold, Nl. Bank office Trust Bank Central, a member of Trustee Bank Holdings, Ltd, said it would open a branch in New Plymouth in October to ensure it offered a nationwide service. Trustee Bank Holdings’ managing director, Dr Don Brash, said the bank planned to open further branches in the Taranaki region over the next 18 months.
