Opportunities to win at shopping mall

For the next six weeks shoppers at Riccarton Mall will be receiving thousands of dollars worth of prizes in the Luxury Choice of a Lifetime game. Each time a purchase is made at Riccarton Mall the shopper receives a voucher. There are three ways the voucher could win, or contribute to a prize. First, there are instant prizes. Some 2000 vouchers qualify for cash prizes up to $lOOO. In addition, there are around 60,000 McDonalds vouchers. There is also the 3.Z.8. Cash bonus game. Three tickets have to be collected with a 3, Z and B and with the same cash amount on each. There is $lO,OOO in cash to be won in this category.

The major prizes, however, are in the Luxury Choice of a Lifetime. Each game ticket features a luxury choice certificate. Shoppers need to collect five of these and place them in an envelope with their name and address. These are then put into a special container at the Riccarton Mall. On Saturday, August 20, there will be a draw and the lucky winner will be able to select a, prize from the following. • $30,000 in cash. • A new model Falcon G.L. car. • A caravan and boat. • A section of land on Cashmere Heights subdivision. • A luxury world trip. Mrs Sue Gunn, the manager of Riccarton Mall, says that in dollar

value the $175,000 prize package is the biggest that has been put together in a South Island shopping centre. “The Luxury Choice of a Lifetime is going to give us a very high profile during the next six weeks,” she says. “The beauty of the whole promotion is the choice of prizes. There is something for everyone. A young couple winning a major prize might go for the secton on Cashmere Heights. On the other hand, if it is won by an older couple, they might take the world trip they have always dreamed of.” In November this year, Riccarton Mall will have been open for 23 years. At present, there are as many as 60 shops and services all under one roof.
