Lange ‘in good spirits’
Political reporter The Prime Minister, Mr Lange, should soon be able to resume his normal duties, said the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Palmer, yesterday.
Mr Palmer visited Mr Lange for 45 minutes at Auckland’s Green Lane Hospital, and said that he was in good
spirits. “When I visited, Mr Lange was up and walking around, and he gave me a conducted tour of his ward,” Mr Palmer said. “It seems to me that Mr Lange is clearly improving, although for the next week, while he is convalescing, his workload will be kept light.”
