Presley fans give
NZPA-AP Memphis, Tennessee The Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Centre has received SUSIOO,OOO ($149,000) in gifts from Presley fans from as far away as Tasmania since 1983, officials say. A spokeswoman for the centre, Ms Linda Brigance, said about 50 fan clubs had given to the hospital, including groups in England, Brazil and Tasmania. Among them is the Elvis Presley Burning Love Fan Club, which will have given about SUS2O,OOO to the Trauma Centre by the end of this year.
