Campaign raises $2.23M
New Zealand Rotary clubs have raised $2.23 million for their organisation’s international Polio Plus campaign. The money was collected by 12,300 Rotarians, an effort to be proud of, the committee chairman of the Polio Plus campaign, Dr Grattan O’Connell, said.
“New Zealand Rotarians have every right to be proud of what they have managed to do to help immunise the world’s children against polio,” he said.
