(a) Pursuant to Section 71C of the Act a Works Rate assessed as a uniform rate of thirty-five dollars ($35) In respect of each separate ratepayers rateable property within the Board’s district for the purpose of undertakilng the pest destruction functions or work and providing the services of the Board. (b) Pursuant to Section 71 of the Act a General Rate of one cent (1c) per hectare on all land of each and every class of land classified as rateable comprised in the property occupied by each ratepayer in the valuation roll.
