SELWYN PEST DESTRUCTION BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE RATES IN THE MATTER of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967 and Amendments, and IN THE MATTER of the Rating Act 1967 PUBLIC NOTICE pursuant to Sections 71-77 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967 NOTICE Is hereby given that Selwyn Pest Destruction Board intends at a meeting of the Board to be held at Darfleld at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 1988 (or at such other place or later date as the Board shall meet) to make and levy rates on the land in its district for the period commencing April 1, 1988, and ending March 31, 1989 on the following basis:

(a) Pursuant to Section 71C of the Act a Works Rate assessed as a uniform rate of thirty-five dollars ($35) In respect of each separate ratepayers rateable property within the Board’s district for the purpose of undertakilng the pest destruction functions or work and providing the services of the Board. (b) Pursuant to Section 71 of the Act a General Rate of one cent (1c) per hectare on all land of each and every class of land classified as rateable comprised in the property occupied by each ratepayer in the valuation roll. (c) The total rates payable by each ratepayer and GST theron shall be paid In one sum payable at the office of the board. Price Waterhouse, 203 Oxford Terrace (P.O.
