Taste of apartheid
NZPA-AFP Cape Town A mixed-race British footballer currently in South Africa playing for a Cape Town soccer team has tasted apartheid first hand when a “whites only” health club refused him entrance. Oshor Williams, who plays for England’s third division Preston North End, told newspapers of his “deep hurt” at being turned away from the Goudini Spa health club in the western Cape province town of Rawsonville, because it was for “whites only.”
