Millionth case
New Zealand Breweries is for the first time exporting one million cases of Steinlager within 12 months. The millionth case of 25 bottles was loaded in Auckland into
a container destined for California, the brewer’s biggest
market. The company’s export director, Mr Julian Goatcher, said Steinlager exports had increased 10 per cent in the last year and were now worth $l6 million a year.
