Murder and rape charges
PA Tauranga The man accused of the murder of Janet Michelle Wardell, aged 26, appeared in the District Court at Tauranga yesterday and faced two other charges of rape. Christopher Thomas Watkins, aged 25, unemployed, of Mount Maunganui, appeared before Judge Wilson.
Watkins was remanded in custody to July 12.
