No trace of missing man

PA Dunedin Extensive ground and air searches of the Mount Roy area, near Wanaka, have failed to find any trace of a missing Christchurch man, Mr Vaughan Chamberlain. The Alexandra police said last evening the search would begin again today at 8 a.m.

Mr Chamberlain, aged 20, went into the area on Wednesday to do photographic work. He was reported missing on Thursday when he failed to meet friends. The Dunedin Search and Rescue squad was called in to help with the search last evening.
