Mrs Hazel Blowers, an information co-ordinator at the Outdoor Recreation Information Centre, holds a copy of the centre’s newly revised directory, “Outdoor Recreation in Canterbury.” . < Mrs Blowers said the guide was intended for Canterbury people and visitors who wanted to take part in an outdoor activity but did not know how to start. The activities section is divided into water, land, and
air sports and there is information on how to get to the activities, and to obtain coaching, as well as lists of sports clubs and camping grounds. The directory would be invaluable for educational institutions and organisations dealing with tourists, Mrs Blowers said, j “Outdoor Recreation in Canterbury” is available from the Outdoor Recreation Centre in the Arts Centre.
