Overseas guests in Telethon
The television personalities, Leeza Gibbons of “Entertainment This Week,” and Christopher Quinten, of “Coronation Street,” will be the overseas guests during Christchurch’s contribution to the 1988 Telethon on June 25 and 26. Leeza Gibbons has become well known in Christchurch during the last year, but it will be a first visit for Christopher Quinten, alias Brian Tilsley.
Among the New Zealand guests are Alisdair Kincaid (Captain Flash), Peter Elliott of “Gloss,” Liz Grant and Michelle A’Court. The Christchurch section of Telethon will be hosted by Ken Ellis. Rodney Bryant will report from the viewing area.
