Public Notices Q Christchurch gssr RATE NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board called for that purpose and held at the office of the Board in the City of Christchurch on the 25th day of May 1988, the said Board DID RESOLVE AND DIRECT: THAT in pursuance of the powers vested In it by "The Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951” and by “The Rating Act 1967” and of all other powers It in that behalf enabling THE CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD at a Special Meeting called for that purpose and held at the Office of the Board in the City of Christchurch on the twenty-fifth day of May 1988, DOTH RESOLVE by Special Order that general and special rates be made and levied for the purpose of “The Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951” upon the rateable property within the several areas hereinafter referred to and the said Board does hereby fix the amounts of the said rates as follows:

(a) For the purpose of providing for the Board’s Maintenance and other charges in respect of sewerage in the SEWERAGE AREA as defined in the Schedule to the Resoluton of the Board passed on the Twenty-fifth day of February 1969, and as added to by Resolutions of the Board bearing date the Twentyfourth day of February 1970, the Twenty-third day of Februay 1971, the Twentysecond day of Februay 1972, the Twentieth day of February 1973, the Nineteenth day of February 1974, the Eighteenth day of February 1975, the Seventeenth day of February 1976, the Fifteenth day of Februay 1977, the Twentyeighth day of February 1978, the Twenty-seventh day of February 1979, the Twentysixth day of February 1980, the Seventeenth day of February 1981, the Sixteenth day of February 1982, the Fifteenth day of February 1983, the Twenty-ninth day of February 1984, and the Twentyseventh day of February 1985, the Twenty-sixth day of February 1986, the Twenty-fifth day of February 1987 and the twenty-fourth day of February 1988. AT $.001222 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said sewerage area as lies within the City of Christchurch, AT $.000964 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said sewerage area as lies within the Borough of Riccarton, AT $.000938 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said sewerage area as lies within the District of Waimalrl, AT $.000868 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said sewerage area as Iles within the County of Heathcote, AT $.000952 In the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said sewerage area as lies within the County of Paparua. (b) For the purpose of providing for the Board’s Maintenance and other charges in respect of land and stormwater drainage in the DRAINAGE AREA as defined in the Sixth Schedule to the Resolution of the Board passed on the Twenty-second day of May 1952, and as altered by Resolutions of the Board bearing date the Sixteenth day of March 1954, the Fifteenth day of February 1955, the Seventeenth day of May 1955, the Twentieth day of March 1956, the Seventeenth day of April 1956, the Nineteenth day of May 1959, the Sixteenth day of February 1960, the Twenty-fifth day of February 1969, the Twentyfourth day of February 1970, the Twentieth day of February 1973, and Nineteenth day of February 1974, the Seventeenth day of February 1981, and the Twenty-seventh day of February 1985, and the Twenty-fifth day of February 1987, AT $.001687 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said drainage area as lies within the City of Christchurch, AT $.001335 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said drainage area as lies within the Borough of Riccarton, AT $.001302 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said drainage area as lies within the District of Waimalrl, AT $.001204 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said drainage area as lies within the County of Heathcote, AT $.001321 in the Dollar upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion of the said drainage area as lies within the County of Paparua. (c) For the purpose of providing for the requirements in connection with the Consolidated Sewer Loans Rate Account the Board hereby fixes rates by Special Order as under for the year ending the Thirty-first day of March 1989 such rates to be collected by the constituent authorities respectively from such portions of the Special Area being described In Schedule C and in Schedule B (as altered from time to time In terms of Section s(f) of the Christchurch Drainage Amendment Act 1922, and Section 60(6) of the Christchurch District Act 1951) of a resolution of the Board dated the Seventeenth day of April 1923. AND NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a meeting of the Board will be held at the office of the Board, Christchurch on Wednesday, June 29, 1988 at 7.30 p.m. to confirm the said Resolution.
