Scholar finds publisher

PA Wellington The American Fulbright scholar who ran into problems having her book on New Zealand businesswomen published, has now found a publisher. Ms Mary Welsh was asked to write about New Zealand women in busi-

ness by the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research as part of her Fulbright scholarship. But when she presented the institute with the manuscript earlier this month she was told it would not be published. Further work was required on the book to

bring it into line with the institute’s standards, she was told. After approaches from five or six other publishers, Ms Welsh has now signed a deal with Government Print, Ltd, which will see ,the book, "The Corporate Enigma,” on sale late next month.
