Political reporter The Chatham Islands County Council will meet this afternoon to discuss the impact of its representatives at the Islands 88 conference at Hobart I Ast week. The international forum of island groups was used to launch a Chathams’ push for greater autonomy. The deputation, lead by the County Chairman, Mr Bunty Preece, and the deputy chairman, Mr Pat Smith, returned to New Zealand yesterday.
