PROD (People for the Restoration of Democracy) has been set up by a group of North Wairarapa and Manawatu people... its chairman, Mr Pat Fouhy, said it was planning a national half-day shutdown... aims to rein in the Government with people power... ‘a completely demoralised nation,’ said the PROD national co-ordinator, Mr Bob Moodie. — News
PROD is the Acronym, From People for The Restoration of Democracy — What’s more, PROD is a common Verb Suggesting GOAD, They urge Us on, but do They Know the Road?
Since Government won’t listen To what We say — Let’s close the whole Place down For half a Day! Let’s show these Politicians What People Power can do — Why half a Day? why not a whole Week? or Two?
Listless, or feverish, The Way we’re plodding — Couldn’t that Shutdown happen Without any Prodding? What sort of Democracy is it That They want restored? Only as much Democracy, as The Place can afford?
