New ballet
Rehearsals have begun for the Christchurch Ballet Society’s August production. The new full-length ballet, called “The Far Away Tree,” will be produced and choreographed by Dianne Honeybone. The
ballet will be staged at the Theatre Royal from August 18 to 20. The society will hold its annual general meeting on Sunday May 22 at 10 a.m. at the Shirley Cornmunity Centre.
