Hotere, Trusttum selected for art award
Only two South Island artists are among the 19 leading painters invited to participate in the 1988 Montana Lindauer Art Award to be held in Auckland in August. Each of the invited artists has been visited by a Montana Lindauer co-ordinator, and their
views canvassed on the final format of the award. The two South Island artists are Ralph Hotere of Port Chalmers and Philip Trusttum of Waimate. Montana has sponsored the award for the last 12 years.
