Canty juniors chosen

Two young Canterbury softballers, Carl Franklin and Shane Nalepa, have been included in a New Zealand under-19 boys’ training squad of 44 players to prepare for the world youth series in Canada in June, 1989. The squad will prepare under a programme designed by Dr Wayne Morris, the trainer of the New Zealand men’s world series team.
