Winning advt ‘a beautiful piece’
PA Wellington An Auckland advertising agency, Colenso Communications, has won New Zealand’s main newspaper advertising award. The Newspaper Advertisement of the Year Awards were announced in Auckland. Commenting on the winner’s advertisement, prepared by the agency for its client, Fisher and Paykel, the chairman of the judges, Mr Bryce Courtenay, said, “I was
specially delighted that this year’s chairman’s award is a retail advertisement, written and art directed with humour to which customers relate.” He called it “a beautiful piece of advertising”.
