Wool prices weaker
PA ! Wellington Wool j prices were weaker at yesterday’s Napier arid Christchurch sales after the New Zealand dollar strengthened 1.2 per ceht to 0.6722 U.S. dollars cornpared with the last auction on April 21,i The market : indicator dropped :10c to 605 c a kilogram clean, according to the Wool Board. The offering of 3928 clean tonnes (33,285 bales) included 9 per cent crossbred fleece, 62 per cent crossbred secondshear and 11 I per cent lamps’ The rest was skirtings, j oddments and miscellaneous.
