Carmjen, told the Thames Television’s "This Week” programme, to be screened tonight, how three! men arrived at speed in a Gibraltar police car. They then jumped over a metal barrier in the centre of the road, guns in hland. Without warning, |they opened fire on Mairead Farrell and Daniel McCann, who were walking in front of
a petrol]station. This I conflicts with newspaper reports that Farrell I was with the third I.R.A. member killed, j Sean Savage, while McCann was shot some distance away. On he programme, and in separate sworn affidavit, Carmen insisted the two. put up their hands when they saw the gunmen.
