Mr Oughton and a technician will tour the South Island with an Army truck and driver, giving “hands-on” experience of science to school pupils. The show has been organised by the Canterbury Science Teachers’ Association and is modelled on the association’s Science Extravaganza held last year. The road show begins in North Canterbury this week and will visit Nelson, South Canterbury, Southland, the West Coast, and ptago.
