Pelling unwell
The Riccarton horse r man, Barry Pelting, will take a break of at least two months from race riding. Pelling' had to forego his book) of rides at the Otago Racing Club’s meeting at Wingatui yesterday after becoming unwell before the race. I
His illness was a result of wasting and he has decided to give up riding until he can stabilise his weight at a suitable level. Pelling, who until yesterday, has enjoyed his most successful season to date this term ,ywith 39 winning rides.
