Digital Equipment Corporation has announced a mid-range series of computer systems and Version 5.0 of its VAX/jVMS operating system. The VAX 6200 range comprises the Isingle-pro-cessor VAX 0210, dualprocessor VAX 6220. three-processor VAX 6230 and four-processor VAX 6240. They ha!ve, respectively. 2.8. 5.5. 8.3 and 11 times the performance of Digital’s VA\ 11 /780 series. Version 5.0 of the VAX/
