Shirley Relics beaten twice
The Shirley Relics volleyball lean lost both its matches to Dunedin opponents in the southern league men's i competition at Dunedin on Saturday. It went down! 3-1, to Vikings in its first match, in spite pf some fine play in the opening stages. Vikings eventually subdued Shirle4, 15-13, 15-13, 6-15, 15-9. ! T ! !
In its second match Shirley was overrun by Scorpions, 3-0, in spite of forcing<Jthe home side to 16-14 in j the first set. h Scorpions played well in the final!(two sets, winning 15-4, jl 5-6, to seal an easy win. No other southern league games were ' played at the week- j end. t Y
