Luton wins English [Cup
NZPA-Reuter London ! Unfashionable Luton Town won the first major trophy in its 103-year history when it beat the present holder. Arsenal, 3-2, in the! English League Cup soccer final on Sunday. In a dramatic and highly entertaining match, Luton took a onegoaal lead, fell 2-1 behind in the second half, but fought, back to clinch the Cup with a last-min-ute goal. The former England [striker, Brian Stein, opened the scoring after
13 minutes and also grabbed the decisive goal seconds from the finish to crown a tremendous personal performance. [Arsenal, who only played in the manner of holders and hot favourites for a 10-minute spell midway through the second period, equalised after 71 minutes through the substitute, Martin Hayes.
