[Among leading sales of crossbred lamb's wool at yesterday’s Tirnaru sale were seven bales from J. A. Marsden (Tirnaru) at 557 c (85.6 per cent yield) followed by 550 c received by two vendors —[ J. J. and R. M. Lake' (Mayfield) for six bales (85.3) and R. J. Love (Arundel) for seven bales (86.4)
[Twelve bales of crossbred lamb’s in a group lot from P.G.G. made 563 c (85.3),. 10 bales from J. M. and M. A. Hastie (Albury) made 545 c (87), 21 bales from K. J. D. Geddes (Mayfield) made 543 c (84.5), and 23 bales from Cleardale Farm. Ltd (Fairlie) sold at 540 c (83.4). ; English-Leicester cross lambs’ from J. A. and R. A. Taylor (Fairlie) made 551 c (85.9) for eight bales, and five bales of Lincoln cross from P. J. O’Donnell (Waimate) sold at 535 c (83.9). Border-Romney reached 553 c (86.6) for 23 bales from Hogg Holdings (Albury); and the same price was received by J. Drinnan (Waimate) for six bales (84.5) of Border-Rom-ney.
Sales of Romney lamb's included A. W-. McConnell (Albury) with 11 bales at 545 c (86.9), Markham Brothers (Geraldine) with seven bales at 547 c (86.1), and Dry Creek station (Fairlie) with four bales at 544 c (85.8). Orari Estate Ltd (Orari) received 548 c (80.4) for 12 bales of Coopworth,

A limited selection of fine wool sold very well, with 10 bales of Halfbred woolly hogget i from D. T. Lowe and Company (Hinds) ’ making 690 c (75.5), and eight bales of two-tooth from the same vendor reaching 650 c (76.4). Table Hill Farm (Waimate) sold five! bales of Halfbred at 600 c (75), and Hedley Partnership [(Waimate) 13 bales at 577 c (84.5). Among Corriedale sales were-seven bales from H. and R. Lory (Kurow) at 571 c (73.8) 10 bales of wether from L. B. and D. M. Power (Waihaorunga) at*s66c (78.5), and 32 bales from N. J. R. and P. R. Hampton (Hinds) at 545 c (69.2).
